The Novotel Bordeaux Lac ****, situated on the water's edge, is located around 6 kilometres from Bordeaux's Grand Théâtre.
PLANE
Bordeaux is served by Bordeaux-Merignac Airport (BOD), which sits around 12 km / 7.5 mi west of the city centre. It is an international airport which is fairly well-served by flights from elsewhere in France along with a number of capitals cities and other large cities across Europe.
TRAIN
Bordeaux's main station, Bordeaux Saint-Jean is served by France’s high-speed TGV network and is only 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. It is therefore possible to arrive by high-speed train with companies such as TGV, Thalys and Eurostar, from various countries across Europe like the UK, Netherlands or Germany (as well as other cities in France). Trains from Paris Montparnasse run twice every hour and the journey takes between 2 to 3 hours.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
