BY PLANE
Geneva Intenational Airport is the closest well-served international airport, located 2.5 mi/ 4 km northwest of Geneva city centre and 110km/ 68.3 miles from the hotel, around 1 hour 15 minutes' drive north west of the hotel. It receives flights from many capitals and major cities across Europe.
You may also consider flying to Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport (a little over 2 hours’ drive to the south-west of the hotel)
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
- Private or shared transfer: Chamexpress allows you to organize your transfer to Chamonix for prices starting as low as 22€. Have a look at their website for timetables and book online.
- By train: From Geneva Airport, switch to Swiss Railways and take a train to Martigny. At Martigny, take the Mont-Blanc Express to Vallorcine. The hotel is then only a 5 minutes’ walk away. This journey will last around 2.5 hours and cost approximately 70€. Train tickets can be booked on Fajrplan.
- By car: car rental services are available at the airport.
Leaving the airport head south on Route de l'Aéroport. Continue onto Route de Pré-Bois, then turn left to merge onto Route de Meyrin, and finally take a slight right to merge onto A1/E25/E62 toward A1a/France/Genève-La Praille/St-Julien. Say on A1 and follow directions to Perly, even as you exit the tunnel take a slight right to follow that direction. Once you are in Perly, stay on the main road Route Saint-Julien, merge onto Route de Genève and follow signs to A 40 – A 41. Merge onto A40 toward Chamonix-Mont-Blanc/Milan/Annemasse/Genève-Vallard. Follow those directions for about 25 minutes and take exit D1506 towards Chamonix-Mont-Blanc/Martigny. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Route Blanche/D1506, follow signs to Martigny, and then Vallorcine. It will be a 10 minute drive up the mountain before you get to the hotel which will be on your right.
