The Novotel Paris 17 **** is located northwest of Paris city centre, just 15 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe, with excellent access to the Paris transports.
Paris is served by three main airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), located 25 km / 16 mi to the northeast of Paris, Paris Orly (ORY), located 13 km / 8.1 mi south of Paris, and Paris Beauvais (BVA), around 85 km / 53 mi north of Paris (near the city of Beauvais).
Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly receive flights from most capitals and major cities across Europe. Meanwhile, low-cost airlines (notably Ryanair), operate flights to Paris Beauvais from many cities across Europe.
From Paris Charles de Gaulle:
- By taxi: taxis are easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to pay between 50€-60€.
- By train: this is generally the most cost-efficient method. Take the B train to Chatelet Les Halles (takes 40 minutes, runs every 10 minutes), then change to Châtelet. From there it is a 10 minute metro journey to Porte de Clichy (line 14), and then a 13-minute walk to the hotel.
- By bus: take the Roissybus to Opera (takes 45 minutes, running every half an hour), then change to Auber. It is then a 15-minute bus ride to Porte D´Asnieres - Marguertite Long, and a 2 minute walk to the hotel.
From Paris Orly Airport:
- By taxi: taxis are found outside each terminal, make sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares depending on traffic, but expect to pay between 30€-40€
- By train: the airport is connected to the RER line B via the bus service Orlyval. The Orylval bus will drop you at the RER station Antony. From there take the the B train to Chatelet Les Halles (takes 20 minutes, trains running every 10 minutes), then switch to Châtelet. From there it is a 10-minute journey on the metro (line 14) to Porte de Clichy, and then a 13-minute walk to the hotel.
From Paris-Beauvais Airport:
- By train: take a taxi or shuttle bus to Beauvais Station, from there take the train to Paris Nord (takes 1 hour 17 minutes, trains running hourly), then change to Gare du Nord. From there head to Porte de Clignancourt (takes 7 minutes by metro, line 4), and change again to Porte de Clignancourt - Puces De Saint-Ouen, and take the T3b tram to Porte D´asnieres - Marguerite Long (takes 12 minutes). From there, it is a 4 minute walk to the hotel.
Porte de Clichy station is located 13 minutes' walk from the hotel, served by line M13 of the metro and RER C.
Pereire station is located about 15 minutes' walk from the hotel, served by line M3 of the metro and also by RER C.
There are also a number of bus stops located near the hotel and Clichy-Levallois train station is a 10 minute walk away.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
