I love Paris in the springtime, I love Paris in the fall... There are songs of love written for this enchanting city of romance and high culture, and there are films lovingly set in its silvery streets and neatly sculpted parks and gardens. One such timeless classic is Gigi, which begins with the marvellous Maurice Chevalier singing in the Bois De Boulogne. This is the old Paris, the majestic madame with her fine, princely houses and leafy boulevards that we find still alive and charming as ever in this district, where the chic and elegant Villa Maillot & Spa is found.

    From Paris Charles de Gaulle:
    • Taxi: easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an official licensed taxi from rank. Fares and journey time varies considerably depending on traffic.
    • Train: take line B of the RER to Châtelet Les Halles, and switch for metro line 1 (yellow) to Neuilly–Porte Maillot.
    • Bus: the Roissybus runs directly to Opéra in central Paris, from there, take RER line A to Charles de Gaulle Etoile.

    From Paris Orly:
    • Taxi: easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an official licensed taxi from the rank. Fares and journey time vary considerably depending on traffic.
    • Train: the ORLYVAL bus connects with RER station Anthony, from there, take line B to Châtelet Les Halles. Switch for line 1 (yellow) to Neuilly–Porte Maillot.

    From Paris-Beauvais:
    • Bus: there is a shuttle bus operating between the airport and Porte Maillot in the city centre.

BY TRAIN

  • It is possible to reach Paris from a number of neighbouring countries including the UK, as well as elsewhere in France, via high-speed train services (for example Eurostar, Thalys, and France's TGV).

    Most international trains arrive at Paris Gare du Nord or Paris Gare de l'Est.
