ADMINISTRATIVE FORMALITIES

  • Citizens of most European countries, including the UK, will be granted a visa upon arrival at UAE airports.

    To enter the United Arab Emirate, it is mandatory to have a passport which is valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in the UAE, along with proof of return or onward travel out of the UAE.

BY PLANE

  • The closest airport is the Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH), which is located around 38km from the hotel (approx a 35min drive), and 30 km (19 mi) east is the Abu Dhabi city.

    The airport is fairly well served internationally. There are a number of direct flights available from across Europe, and many more indirect routes with a transfer. The airport serves a a base for Etihad Airways.

  • Health & travel rules for Abu Dhabi:
    As of 2022 there are no longer any health or travel restrictions in place in regarding Covid-19, however, visit the official Visit Abu Dhabi website to find the latest information.
  • 3, 4, or 6 nights minimum stay according to the date chosen at the time of booking
  • For all departures in 50 days or more, the remaining balance will be automatically debited 45 days prior to departure

  • No name changes will be accepted. Name changes are considered a cancellation and will result in the applicable cancellation fee. The reservation will be cancelled and a new reservation will be made subject to availability and according to current prices.

  • Ramadan runs from 10 March to 9 April. There are no Ramadan-related restrictions for tourists. Restaurants are open during the day, and it is possible to consume alcohol, as it is during the rest of the year (in the evening, however, it is agreed to wait for the Iftar before consuming it). The vast majority of tourist attractions will be open during Ramadan and crowds may be reduced. Cultural institutions and attractions may open 1 hour later in the morning and close 1 hour later in the evening.
