BY PLANE
The main airport in Crete is Heraklion International Airport, “Nikos Kazantzakis” (HER). It sits around 5 km / 3 mi to the east of Heraklion city centre, on the northern coast towards the centre of Crete.
The airport receives flights from a large number of cities across Europe, from a large number of airlines. Most flights are seasonal (mainly during the summer period) and it may be required to may have to fly first via Athens.The airport is located 60km from the hotel, around 50 minutes by car.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
