PLANE
The main airport serving Rome is Rome Fiumicino-Leonardo da Vinci Airport (FCO), located around 35.0 km / 21.7 mi southwest of the city centre. The airport is well connected internationally, and receives a large number of flights from across Europe.
Some low-cost airlines, notably Ryanair, also fly into Rome's second airport, Rome Ciampino Airport (CIA), located around 12 km / 7.5 mi south-southeast of the city centre.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
Transfers can be arranged in advance with the hotel from and back to Fiumicino Airport for 1 or 2 people (for an additional cost).
Taxis and car rentals are readily available at both airports (note however, that if you care for both your sanity then we also strongly advise against renting a car and driving in the city!)
Public transport:- From Fiumicino Airport: the Leonardo Express takes about 30 minutes to get to Roma Termini station, it runs 7 days a week. The hotel is located just across from the station. There are also non-stop buses to Roma Termini station.
- From Ciampino Airport: there is a direct bus service to Roma Termini station taking around 40 minutes.
