BY PLANE
João Paulo II Airport (PDL), located on the island of São Miguel, is both the main and busiest airport in the Azores. It is situated 2 km / 1.2 mi west of the city centre of Ponta Delgada and only 15km from the hotel.
The airport has scheduled domestic flights to and from all islands of the Azores, plus Madeira and the Portuguese mainland, namely Lisbon, Porto and Faro. The airport also receives international flights to and from a number of cities in Europe and North America.
