L'Azure hotel ★★★★ SUP

A warm welcome to L’Azure hotel, where the friendly smiles of the staff greet you and the heat of the Spanish sun relaxes you into a dreamlike state. Here at L’Azure Hotel set in the stunning Costa Brava, all your worries will float away.

Arriving at the hotel, we were stunned at the sheer scale of the establishment, with 411 rooms and a total of 6 bars and restaurants, we would never be short of things to do. We were taken up to our Suite, beautifully yet simplistically decorated. Light blues and deep blues make up much of the colour palette, sticking to the ‘azure theme’, alongside a luxurious marble bathroom, with gold features creating a chic and sophisticated look. We sat on the balcony with a cup of coffee in hand, overlooking the pool and took a deep breath of the fresh Spanish air.

I made my way down to the spa, ready to embrace the tranquillity and peacefulness of the trickling water, and the soothing spa music. I was not disappointed. With several types of heated indoor pools, saunas, and hot tubs, I settled down allowing my body to fully relax into the calm silence. My other half, on the other hand, spent his time at The Eighth. This rooftop infinity pool and Chill Out Bar has magnificent views spanning over the city, as well as sun bed and umbrellas for ultimate relaxation.

In the evening, after enjoying delicious cocktails and a few tapas dishes at the bar, we made our way to the hotel’s front cooking restaurant, serving traditional Mediterranean cuisine. Stuffed full of fresh fish and salad, we headed up to bed, full and satisfied with the wonderful hotel we had picked for our holiday.
