Tenerife has two airports, the better served of which is Tenerife South Airport (TFS), located in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona along the island's southern coast.
It's the second busiest airport in the Canary Islands after Gran Canaria, and welcomes regular and seasonal flights from a large number of European destinations.
Alternatively, Tenerife North Airport (TFN) is located at the northern end of the island, 11 km / 6.8 mi outside of Santa Cruz.
The airport receives a number of regular and seasonal flights, largely from elsewhere in Spain.
