Tours Val de Loire Airport (TUF) is found 6 km / 3.7 mi northeast of Tours, and around 7 km / 4.5 mi (15 minutes') drive from the hotel.
The airport is little served, but does receive a handful of international flights for example from London or Dublin.
Alternatively, Nantes Atlantique Airport (NTE) is located around 2 hours' drive to the west, or Paris Orly (ORY) is located around 2 hours' drive to the north. Both airports are better served with more international routes.
• Bus: a shuttle bus (the Blue Wire) runs between the airport and Tours bus station leaving every 20 minutes and take 20 minutes to reach the city centre.
• Taxi: taxis should be readily available outside the terminal after a scheduled flight arrival, and take around terminal and should take around 15 minutes to reach the centre.
There are two main stations serving Tours, Gare de Tours in the city centre, and the nearby Gare de Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, just a little further out.
Both stations are served by France's high-speed TGV train services. It is therefore possible to reach Tours by train rapidly from a number of neighbouring countries, and also directly from Paris in a little over an hour.
