The Business Bay area of Dubai was constructed as “a city within a city”, here you will find top tier dining, fashionable bars, clubs and trendy outlets. Wander the Dubai Water Canal, one of the longest waterfront promenades in the city, stretching for close to 12 kilometres. In the heart of this professional hub, is the Hyde Hotel Dubai, nestled among the hustle and bustle. Here is where my partner and I dropped off our bags at our Deluxe Hyde Out Plus room, a contemporary, elegant blend of rich wooden furnishings, spotless white bed linen and an ivory tiled bathroom where everything was neatly displayed. Every morning I appreciated the far-reaching city views, sun kissed by the sunrise from the sheer, glass balcony.
Three restaurants ensure you won’t go hungry with a delicious Levantine menu from Cleo, handmade burgers from Hudson Tavern, where New York meets Dubai, and a Japanese speciality restaurant named Katsuya. Grab a coffee to go from The Perq, here they serve amazing coffee from a local roaster called Nightjar. The laid-back Hudson Tavern with its leather chairs and caviar and chicken was unforgettable. We particularly loved the ambience and rich colour palette of green, wines and browns.
Going out for a special occasion? The hotel houses both a male and female salon, plus calming Cinq Mondes Dubai Spa to prepare you for any occasion. To keep in shape, you can do so from the fitness centre that looks over the incredible Dubai Canal. You’ll be enormously grateful to come back to a sumptuously soft king-sized bed after a day of extensive walking, and the Malin + Goetz for Ciel Spa bath treats mean you can have a hot bubble bath to help you relax whenever you just want to stay in and wind down. A cosy room, delectable menus and amazing views, you are in for a truly great staycation at Hyde Hotel Dubai.
Dubai is renewing itself. Dubai is growing. And some work around your future address can testify to this growth. The promise to find even more novelties every trip...
