Heraklion International Airport, “Nikos Kazantzakis” (HER), Crete's main airport, sits around 5 km / 3 mi east of Heraklion on the central northern coast, and about 70 km / 40 mi / 1 hours' drive west of the hotel.
The airport receives flights from a large number of cities across Europe, including the UK. Many flights operate in the summer seaon, otherwise it may be required to fly indirect via Athens.
