Tradition marries modernity at the 25hours Hotel One Central, the first 25hours hotel in the Middle East. A luxury escape for any nomad, the hotel brings the ancient traditions of Bedouins back to life. Overlooking the Museum of the Future, the hotel puts you in the centre of the city, a stone’s throw from Dubai’s international finance centre. Bright, airy, and industrial, you have modern technology, 5-metre-high windows for breath-taking views, a beautiful co-working space, pottery room, rooftop sauna…and the list goes on, right at your fingertips.
“Hello stranger, goodbye Habibi, (or good friend)” – 25hours Hotel One Central.
You might enter the 25hours Hotel One Central as a stranger to the premises and to Dubai itself, but the personalised approach and ever welcoming team will make you feel like part of the family before you leave. Immerse yourself in local culture and customs with books in the lobby with an award-winning Nightjar coffee made with love by a barista in the Nomand Day Bar. Cuisine is just as exquisite, from house-baked pretzels at the German themed Ernst Biergarten, to Tandoor Tina, serving signature Indian dishes with a British twist.
Christoph Hoffman, one of the brands founders describes the venue as a living room, a party paradise, a romantic getaway, ..or the go-to destination for creative business meetings”. Our trip was more of a romantic getaway, and our cosy upgrade to the spacious glamping room was ideal. Inspired by urban nomads, our colourful room, with plants and wooden flooring boasted a powerful rainfall shower and playful touches like the analogue phone and UE Boom sound system.
The bespoke amenities at 25hours Hotel One Central were out of this world, from a rooftop pool to the 6th floor gym, with various fitness classes, and the Extra Hour spa for indulgent self-care. We whole-heartedly enjoyed our spa discount and luxuriated in a full body treatment against a backdrop of relaxing beats and fragrant comfort zones. Celebrity hairdresser Wassim Steve has his own ladies’ salon on site, so girls, if you’re looking for a haircut, you know where to go!
A member of staff told us the best way to explore Dubai is on wheels, so we rented a Schindelhauer e-bike and peddled around Zabeel Park, then headed to Downtown Dubai.
At night, we took a walking tour of Agadir Marina, this we recommend. Be sure to take a knick-knack from the souvenir shop with you before saying goodbye to your newly found home and friends.
