BY PLANE

  • Chania International Airport, "Daskalogiannis" (CHQ), is located on the northwestern Akrotiri Peninsula, 14 km / 8.7 mi east of Chania. It is around 47 km / 29 mi (45 minutes') drive from the hotel.

    The airport also receives a number seasonal flights from cities across Europe, including the UK, and year-round flights from Athens.

    Alternatively, Heraklion International Airport, “Nikos Kazantzakis” (HER), Crete's main airport, sits around 5 km / 3 mi east of Heraklion on the central northern coast. It is around 101 km / 62 mi (1 hour and 22 minutes') drive from the hotel.

    The airport receives flights from a large number of cities across Europe, including the UK. Many flights operate in the summer seaon, otherwise it may be required to fly indirect via Athens.
