As soon as you hear the word ‘Santorini’, it conjures up scenes of the utmost magic where bright white buildings glisten in the sunlight topped with domes of an unmistakable cerulean hue.   • Santorini (Thira) International Airport (JTR) is located 6 km / 3.5 mi southeast of Fira, the island's capital, and around 8km / 5mi (13 minutes') drive from the hotel.

    The airport is fairly well served with seasonal flights from many European cities, including the UK, as well as year-round flights from Athens.

    To the hotel:

    • Bus: a bus service operates to the Fira, the island's capital.

    • Taxi: a 24/7 metered taxi service is available outside the airport terminal, the journey to Fira is about 15 minutes, while most of the rest of the island is within 10-20 minutes.

    • Car: several car rental services are available at the airport, but be sure to book your car in advance, particularly in summer! This is a great way to reach the hotel if you are also looking to explore Santorini during your stay.
