It is the first hotel in Portugal to offer an immersive light experience through a video mapping show that introduces you to the city. Be amazed as you watch the walls of the magnificent inner courtyard bursting with lights and special effects as you sit down for a meal or an evening drink and take in the magic.
Like an urban oasis, the accommodation is decorated with pools of water running between flower beds and the terrace. While the rooftop bar boasts an open-air swimming pool open in warmer months with sweeping views of the city. Its central location in the Picoas neighbourhood means you are just moments from the grand plazas and seafood restaurants of the Baixa district. You are also not far from the famous Miradouro da Senhora do Monte viewpoint, the Dona Maria II National Theatre, and the beautiful Rossio square.
The hotel’s interior design is inspired by the sunlight during golden hour, which is reflected in the tones and materials used. The decor lets plenty of natural light into the interior spaces and guest rooms – as its name suggests, light is the central theme of this hotel.
Enjoy a delicious gourmet meal with Portuguese flavours prepared by Chef Celso Dias at the Clorofila Restaurant. Meals are served in a relaxed contemporary atmosphere, with more than half of the tables in view of the evening light show. While a decorative mezzanine style balcony in the courtyard is open seasonally.

BY PLANE
Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS), or simply "Lisbon Airport", sits just 7km / 4.3mi north of Lisbon city centre and around 7km / 4mi (14 minutes') drive from the hotel. It is a well-served international airport and the main hub for TAP Portugal. The airport receives regular flights from most capitals and many other major cities in Europe, including from the UK.
From the airport to the hotel:
• Taxi: located outside the terminals, prices are calculated on distance and it should take around 15-30 minutes to reach the city centre.
• Metro: the red line operates to São Sebastião in the city, change there for the blue line, or at Alameda for the green line, into the city centre. The journey takes around 35 minutes.
• Bus: Aerobus Line 1 operates to the city centre of Lisbon every 20 minutes, taking around 45 minutes.
