Shoni Bay Resort **** is located in Marsa Alam, a seaside resort on the Red Sea in Egypt. The hotel is located on a secluded beach of 365,000 square meters with a natural exit to the sea.

ADMINISTRATIVE FORMALITIES

  • All foreign visitors to Egypt, whether they need a visa or not, must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.

    Visitors from many countries, including the UK, all of the European Union, the US and Canada may apply for an e-Visa online in advance, apply here. Alternatively, it is possible to obtain a visa either at your local Egyptian consulate, or upon arrival in Egypt (however this may require spending time in a queue on arrival!).

    Visas allow a stay of up to 30 days per entry, and may be approved as either a single or multiple entry authorization depending on the needs of the applicant.

BY PLANE

  • Marsa Alam International Airport (RMF) is located just north of Marsa Alam, about 22km / 14mi / 22 minutes' drive from the hotel.

    The airport receives seasonal and some year-round flights from a number of cities across Europe, including the UK.
