Torre delle Cornacchie

Torre delle Cornacchie, translated as the "Tower of the Crows", was originally built as a small hilltop vantage point to watch over and protect Rome - constructed using sections of the old Roman Road, you can still see the indentations of the ancient carts and chariots embedded in the tower. One of many legends associated with the tower claims that crows protected hidden treasure - revealed one night when lightning struck.

Inside the tower, you'll discover a beautifully renovated, spacious two-bedroom villa laid out over two floors.
