Each superbly cosy and comfortable pod is well-equipped with a private bathroom, wood-burning stove, and terrace with panoramic views. While staff are attentive and welcoming, ensuring you feel at ease from the moment you arrive.

Les Cerniers gourmet restaurant offers a unique “wild cuisine” concept at the accommodation, making your stay even more magical. Headed by Chef Jérémie Cordier, dishes are made from fresh local produce, including ingredients picked in the neighbouring forest by the chef himself. There is also a second restaurant – La Tsijiri – located in the grounds where the pods are situated. Sample its special seasonal menu with typical Alpine dishes such as fondue while looking out across the mountains.

Start each day with an excellent breakfast at the Pod-house, conveniently located in the middle of the pods. The eatery also serves afternoon tea with homemade pastries for those passing later in the day. The site is also home to the wellness area which includes a sauna and Scandinavian bath.

Play an active role in the lodge’s ecological efforts where water and energy is controlled and waste is recycled. Ingredients are purchased locally, and staff live nearby, simply walking to work while motorised transport is limited.

The stunning accommodation is very well situated, facing the Villars mountain resort. It is also close to the Avoriaz mountain retreat, located just across the border in France, and Montreux which is just a 30-minute drive away. Lausanne is also within reach, 45 minutes by car, while Geneva is an hour and a half away.
