Venice is Italy’s floating masterpiece, a golden journey back in time with a host of wonders illuminating the way. Standing majestically on the banks of the Grand Canal, between Ca’ D’Oro and the Rialto Bridge, the 15th-century Palace of Hotel Ca’Sagredo preserves the untouched beauty of a noble Venetian residence. The ballrooms are now museums, housing works of 17th and 18th century Venetian artists such as Bambini and Longhi. You will arrive at this classic Venetian façade with tall windows with their pointed arches and small stone balconies, the warm terracotta glowing in the low afternoon sun…
