Chateau de Rochegude ★★★★

A chic medieval escape in Provence.

By Esme Fox, VeryChic correspondent
Dôme delights travellers with its patchwork landscapes of pastel lavender fields, dusky olive groves and gentle rolling hills and is rightly considered one of the most picturesque areas of France. In the centre of this classic part of French Provence sits the charming village of Rochegude, overlooking the vineyards of the Côtes du Rhône and surrounded by ancient towns of Roman ruins and structures. Stay in a quintessentially French Chateau in Rochegude’s own four-star Relais & Chateaux property – Chateau de Rochegude.
