The Auberge du Manoir is a charming wooden chalet-hotel located in Chamonix, in the heart of the French Alps, with Mont Blanc towering overhead. The hotel is found in a quiet area, just five-minutes’ walk from the town’s downtown area.
The closest well-served international airport is Geneva Airport (GVA), located just northwest of Geneva, around 100 km / 60 mi / 1 hour and 15 minutes' drive northwest of the hotel. The airport receives flights from most capitals and other major cities across Europe, including the UK.
Alternatively, Chambéry Airport (CMF), is located about 145km / 90mi / 1 hour and 30 minutes' drive west of hotel and is served by seasonal flights only, from a handful of major cities across Europe, including the UK. Or Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS) is located about 221 km / 137 mi / 2 hours and 10 minutes' drive west of the hotel, and is fairly well-served internationally.
From Geneva Airport there is a convenient, direct bus service to Chamonix (which takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes). From the other airports we recommend renting a car in order to reach the hotel.
