With its beautiful Portuguese architecture, typical paved streets, delicious food and authentic feel, Lisbon is the perfect city destination when you need to escape the daily routine. With a wonderful Mediterranean feel, it’s sure to leave you feeling sun-kissed and refreshed. This time, I made a wonderful discovery: the As Janelas Verdes. This 18century palace with sumptuous interiors in the historic part of the capital is the best kind of luxury.

With its small garden and the top floor library overlooking the river, this historic building transmits a romantic and welcoming feeling. The rooms are sunny and cheerful and the Tagus is close by.
