Hotel Opera Diamond **** is situated in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, in the heart of Paris and only a few minutes’ walk from the Grevin Museum and the Boulevard Haussmann.
Paris has three main airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly along with the low-cost airport Paris Beauvais, located a little further out of the city.
- From the UK: British Airways, Air France, CityJet and EasyJet all operate direct flights out of London. EasyJet also fly direct from Bristol, Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow while Ryanair fly direct from Manchester and Flybe from Birmingham.
- From Ireland: Flying from Dublin, direct flights are operated by Air Lingus, Air France and Ryanair. Aer Lingus also fly from Cork, while Ryanair also fly direct from Shannon.
- From Germany: Airlines flying direct from Berlin include: Lufthansa, Air Berlin, Air France, EasyJet and Germanwings. Air France and Germanwings also fly direct from Hamburg and Dusseldorf while Lufthansa also fly direct out of Frankfurt and Munich.
- From the Netherlands: Air France and KLM both provide direct flights out of Amsterdam.
- From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: SAS, Air France, KLM and Norwegian all fly direct from Stockholm in Sweden, Oslo in Norway and Copenhagen in Denmark. Low-cost airline Ryanair also fly out of Stockholm and Oslo while low-cost Easyjet also fly from Copenhagen. Finnair and Norwegian fly direct from Helsinki, Finland.
- From France: Air France operate shuttle flights from most major cities to Paris, including: Strasbourg, Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Biarritz, Marseille and Nice.
Getting to the hotel from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport:
- By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to the journey to be approx. 20 minutes.
- By train: This is generally the most cost-efficient method. The airport connects to the city via Line B of the RER; in direction of Robinson Saint-Remy-lès-Chevreuse and get off at Gare Du Nord. From here take the metro line number 4 in direction of Marie de Montrouge and get off at Réaumur-Sébastapol, then take the M3 towards Pont de Levallois-Bécon, get off at saint Lazare, exit the metro station on to Rue de Rome and turn elft onto Place Gabriel Péri, the hotel will be 60meters on your right.
- By Bus: The Roissybus runs directly to Opéra in central Paris, tickets cost around 10 euros.
Getting to the hotel from Paris Orly airport:
- By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, make sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to pay between 30 to 40 euros.
- By train: The airport is connected to the RER line B via the bus service ORLYVAL. The ORLYVAL bus will drop you off at the RER station Anthony. Line B of the RER; in direction of Robinson Saint-Remy-lès-Chevreuse and get off at Gare Du Nord. From here take the metro line number 4 in direction of Marie de Montrouge and get off at Réaumur-Sébastapol, then take the M3 towards Pont de Levallois-Bécon, get off at saint Lazare, exit the metro station on to Rue de Rome and turn elft onto Place Gabriel Péri, the hotel will be 60meters on your right.
Getting to the hotel from Paris-Beauvais airport:
- By train: Take a taxi (around 11€) or shuttle bus (around 4€ per person) to Beauvais station, from which the TER line 19 runs to Paris Gare du Nord. From here take the metro line number 4 in direction of Marie de Montrouge and get off at Réaumur-Sébastapol, then take the M3 towards Pont de Levallois-Bécon, get off at saint Lazare, exit the metro station on to Rue de Rome and turn elft onto Place Gabriel Péri, the hotel will be 60meters on your right.
Most international trains arrive at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris de l’Est. From either, you can take line 4 (purple) of the metro to Montparnasse Bienvenue before taking line 12 (green) to Convention.
- From the UK: The train company Eurostar, operate trains from London St. Pancras International train station to Paris Gare du Nord.
- From Germany: Direct trains terminating at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris de l’Est, are found from several major cities including Frankfurt, Cologne and Dusseldorf. High-speed train company Thalys operate trains from Dusseldorf and Cologne.
- From the Netherlands: The High-speed train company Thalys run direct trains from Amsterdam and Rotterdam to Paris Gare du Nord.
- From France: The TGV operate fast trains from all over France, including: Lille, Nantes, Lyon, Bordeaux, Marseille and Nice.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
