Ultra-stylish beachfront hotel on the French Riviera

By Edward Fairbairn, VeryChic correspondent
Hidden amongst the glittering resorts such as Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Monaco, the French Riviera still has a few surprises hidden up its sleeve – quieter and more authentic seaside villages with a laid-back charm. Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, home of the Hotel Victoria, is certainly one of them, set on a rocky peninsula jutting out into the Mediterranean and full of cobbled medieval alleyways, pebbly beaches and incredible sea views. It hasn’t completely resisted the Riviera’s glamorous makeover however, meaning that the historic quarter competes with luxury villas and stylish hotels. Speaking of which, style is undoubtedly of the essence at the Victoria, whose décor is an homage to some of the many prestigious architects and designers who have called the village home. Meanwhile, it also offers plenty of home comforts such as panoramic balconies, luxurious bedrooms and a perfect beachfront location!
