Sea views and luxury in the pearl of Slovenia’s Mediterranean coast

This year I planned a holiday with my friend, as my husband had to stay at home on business - his loss! We were determined to find somewhere different, somewhere we had never even thought of before and she, clever woman, came up with Slovenia. This small European country has a comparatively tiny little necklace of coastline on the Adriatic, between big sisters Italy and Croatia. But boy, do they make the most of it! The Hotel Piran **** is the pearl in the necklace’s centre.
