The closest airport to the hotel is Faro Airport, a 30 minutes’ drive to the east.
- From the UK: Direct flights from London are operated by British Airways, Monarch, EasyJet and Ryanair. Easyjet & Ryanair fly from Bristol and Glasgow; Monarch & Ryanair fly from Manchester and Birmingham; Ryanair from Edinburgh and Aer Lingus & Ryanair from Belfast.
- From Ireland: Aer Lingus and Ryanair fly direct from Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports.
- From Germany: Air Berlin & Easyjet fly direct out of Berlin, while Air Berlin & Germanwings fly out of Hamburg. Ryanair fly out of Dusseldorf, Cologne and Frankfurt and TUIfly fly out of Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich.
- From the Netherlands: Flying from Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven, one can find direct flights from Transavia; Ryanair also fly direct from Eindhoven.
- From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: Norwegian and Ryanair fly direct from Stockholm, Sweden and Oslo, Norway. Only Norwegian operates direct flights from Copenhagen, Denmark, and indirect flights from Helsinki, Finland.
- From France: EasyJet and Ryanair operate direct flights from Paris to Faro. From other major cities such as Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille and Nice, however, Tap Portugal fly direct to Lisbon airport (1.30 hours’ drive from the hotel).
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
- By Airport Transfer Service: provided by the hotel from/to the Faro airport for a surcharge of 75€ (around £55) per trip.
- By Public Transport: There is only one bus line that departs from Faro Airport and connects the Airport with the city centre of Faro, takes around 20 minutes and costs around 1.90€ per person. From the city centre you can take the R train in the direction of Lagos for 6€ (around £4). Get off at the Boliqueime (4th stop). From there you can take a taxi to the resort for around 10€ - 20€ (£7 - £15). The whole journey will take around 40 minutes
- By Car: We advise you to rent a car at the airport to get to the hotel and to discover the beautiful Algarve region. At the airport, major car rental companies offer a variety of cars, but we strongly advise booking your vehicle in advance. The Algarve knows no crisis, nor the off season, especially during the weekends.
From Faro:
Follow the A22, in the direction Boliqueime/Vilamoura take this exit to Boliqueime. Continue on the N270 in the direction of Poço de Boliqueime and turn left at the traffic lights where the N270 and N125 cross, in the direction of Faro. Continue on the N125 until the end of the village of Maritenda turn right after 800 m, towards Albufeira follow the signs “Pine Cliffs Secret Resort *****”.
From Lisbon:
When leaving the A2 linking Lisbon to the Algarve, you will find the A22. Follow it in the Faro/Spain direction. Leave the motorway A22 at the Boliqueime/Vilamoura exit. Continue on the N125 road until the end of the village of Maritenda in the direction of Vilamoura. Turn right after 800 metres in the direction of Albufeira. Follow the signs “Pine Cliffs Secret Resort *****”.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
