TRANSPORT

BY PLANE

  • The closest airport to the hotel is Nantes Atlantique Airport, about 8 km (5.0 mi) southwest of Nantes city centre and about 50 minutes drive northeast of the hotel, it receives flights from many European capitals and several major cities in UK and Germany.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • - Public transport: The Navette Tan Air shuttle runs to Nantes train station, it takes about 20 minutes and costs 7.50€.
From there you may take a train direct to Cholet (although these do not run regularly). Another option is to take an indirect train with a change at Angers or a direct bus.

    - By car: Leaving the airport, follow signs for Nantes and Périphérique Sud (ring road to the south) onto the N844. Take exit 48a, towards Bordeaux / La Roche sur Yon, onto the A83. Follow this road and then take the exit for Cholet / Angers onto the A87. Finally take exit 28 for Le Puy du Fou.
At the roundabout take the first right towards St Malo du Bois on the D72. Follow this road and look out for the right turn (just after going over the bridge) to Chambretaud.
Continue straight down this road, the hotel will be on the right hand side.

BY CAR

  • An option worth considering if you are coming from the UK, other neighbouring countries or especially other cities in France, as it is convenient to have a car to get around and explore during your stay.
The closest motorway passing by the hotel is the A87, which stretches from Angers (where it connects with the A11 to Paris) down to La Roche-sur-Yon (where it connects to the A83 to Nantes).
Once on the A87, take exit 28 for Le Puy du Fou. At the roundabout take the first right towards St Malo du Bois on the D72. Follow this road and look out for the right turn (just after going over the bridge) to Chambretaud.
Continue straight down this road, the hotel will be on the right hand side.

BY TRAIN

It is possible to take a high-speed train to nearby Angers or Nantes (with companies such as TGV, Eurostar or Thalys from various countries across Europe as well as other cities in France) and then switch for a regular train the remaining distance to Cholet.
