The Ammos is a boutique hotel which prides itself on its design and facilities, impeccably clean rooms, and top-class services. The glittering pool is one of the best features of the hotel, surrounded by cushioned sun beds, parasols and a bar that stays open until midnight. The small size of the hotel means that there isn’t any rush to get up early and reserve sun beds of a morning, there’s more than enough for all, even in peak season. The pool uses nearby sea water, however if you feel like more of a beach experience head down to Magazia beach with a parasol from the hotel and relax on the sands.

Whether travelling with a partner or with your family Ammos has the perfect accommodation. The superior double room is a cosy space of 20m² with a large double bed. They overlook the cobalt blue waters of the Aegean and the sea view windows flood the room with warm light. The maisonettes are perfect for groups, families or friends with around an area of 30m². These are duplex spaces with a view of the gardens. A small terrace leads onto an exterior corridor between rooms where you can bathe in the sun or take an evening cocktail whilst watching the sundown. The rooms are minimalist, a décor to suit everyone’s taste and are equipped with televisions, air-conditioning, phone, mini-bar, designer Nef-Nef linen and Apivita toiletries. Bathrooms have glass enclosed showers and boast rain showerheads.

With so much available outside of your room however, no doubt you won’t spend much time in your room. The hills here are perfect for climbers and hikers, the beaches are wide and plenty and are not just for sunbathing and swimming in the sea, on Skyros you can try sailing, snorkelling, scuba-diving, windsurfing and kite-surfing.
