The Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort **** Hotel is located in the town of Riva del Garda, next to Lake Garda in the Trento Province in North-eastern Italy.
The city is served by three main airports: Malpensa International Airport 45.0 km (27 mi) east from the city centre, Linate Airport within the city limits and Bergamo-Orio al Serio Airport (also known as Il Caravaggio International Airport) 45 km (27 mi) away, near the town of Bergamo. All these airports provide the best options for flights but are all between 160km and 250km from the hotel.
- From the UK: Direct flights from London are offered by British Airways, EasyJet and Ryanair. Flybe and Ryanair fly from both Birmingham and Manchester. Ryanair also fly from Bristol and Easyjet also fly from Edinburgh.
- From Ireland: Aer Lingus and Ryanair operate direct from Dublin.
- From Germany: Germanwings fly from most cities. Air Berlin, Easyjet and Ryanair fly direct out of Berlin. Air Berlin and Ryanair also fly from Dusseldorf. Both Easyjet and Ryanair fly from Hamburg. Brussels Airlines and Ryanair fly from Frankfurt, and Air Dolomiti from Munich.
- From the Netherlands: Flying from Amsterdam, KLM, Norwegian and Easyjet offer direct flights, while Ryanair fly direct from Eindhoven.
- From Sweden & Norway: SAS and Ryanair fly from both respective capital cities, Stockholm and Oslo.
- From Denmark: SAS and Easyjet fly from Copenhagen. From Finland: Finnair run direct flights from Helsinki.
- From France: Air France, EasyJet and Ryanair operate direct flights from Paris. Air France and Hop! fly out of Lyon. Easyjet fly from Bordeaux and Twin Jet fly seasonally from Toulouse and Marseille
The Verona Villafranca Airport located just 82km southwest of hotel. However flights vary seasonally and do not provide as many options.
- From the UK: British Airways and EasyJet both fly from London, and Monarch fly from Manchester. Flybe fly seasonally from Southampton and Jet2 fly seasonally from Belfast, Edinburgh and Leeds.
- From Ireland: Air Lingus fly seasonally from Dublin.
- From Germany: Air Dolomiti fly from Munich and Lufthansa fly from Frankfurt. Germanwings fly seasonally from Berlin, Cologne and Hamburg.
- From the Netherlands: Transavia fly seasonally from Amsterdam.
- From France: Air France fly from Paris.
From the Milano Airports:
- By Train: From the Milan airports you can take shuttle buses to the Milan Centrale Station. From this station, you can take a train to the Rovereto station, which is only 20km from the hotel. A ticket to Rovereto costs about 20e (£14) per person and takes about 2 and a half hours. From Rovereto, you can take a taxi to the hotel for between 30€ and 35€ (around £22-£25) or you can take the 301 bus towards Bolognano. Get off at the Riva V.Rovereto H.Du Lac stop which is just 1 minute from the hotel.
- By Car: Driving from the airports to the hotel may be an option to seriously consider especially if traveling with family and children. This is by far the most cost effective and hassle free way to arrive. From the airports, take the A8/E62 towards Milano/Como/Chiasso all the way to the A4/E64 towards Venezia/Milano v.le Zara/Aeroporto Linate. Take exit Peschiera toward Peschiera and merge onto Strada Provinciale 11/SS11dir and then onto the SS450. Follow signs for the A22/E45 and merge onto the A22/E45 following signs for Brennero/Austria. After 40km, take the exit toward Rovereto Sud/Lago di Garda Nord and continue on the SS240. Follow the SS240 for about 11.5km until you see the hotel on the left.
From the Verona Villafranca Airport:
- By Train: from the Verona Airport, you can take the 199 bus towards VR Fs P.nuova and get off at the last stop VR Fs P.nuova. Then connect to the Verona Porta Nuova Railway Station and take the EC 84 train towards München Hbf and get off at the first stop Rovereto. . From Rovereto, you can take a taxi to the hotel for between 30€ and 35€ (around £22-£25) or you can take the 301 bus towards Bolognano. Get off at the Riva V.Rovereto H.Du Lac stop which is just 1 minute from the hotel.
- By Car: From the airport, merge onto Tangenziale Sud/SR62 and take it to the A22/E45 following signs for Brennero/Austria. After 40km, take the exit toward Rovereto Sud/Lago di Garda Nord and continue on the SS240. Follow the SS240 for about 11.5km until you see the hotel on the left.
- By Taxi: You can take a taxi from the Verona Airport but it will be a more costly option as it will cost you between 110€ and 120€ (around £78-£85) and will take about an hour to arrive.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
