Casa de Campo (Spanish for ‘Country House’) is the ultimate Ponderosa-style tropical resort. It was first developed in 1975 from 7,000 acres of Romana sugar-mill land. It has since been completely redeveloped and the result is such a large estate that you may need to travel by golf cart!
