  • Hacienda Higueral is a beautiful historic ranch dedicated to the breeding of cattle and horses, located just 20 minutes from Casa de Campo. You can take a horse ride and see cowboys working with the cattle and herds of horses. Casa de Campo staff can advise on visit and riding arrangements.

BY PLANE

  • The hotel is located 10 minutes from La Romana International Airport (LRM). The airport receives some direct international flights from Europe, notably from the UK and Italy. However you may also fly indirect via the United States.

    Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) is located 75 km from the hotel. The airport receives a number of regular and seasonal flights from cities across Europe, such as London, Paris, Madrid, Frankfurt and Munich. From elsewhere you will likely need to fly indirect via one of these cities or for example via the US (such as New York, Philadelphia or Atlanta).

VISA REQUIREMENTS

  • Citizens or residents of the United Kingdom, United States, Canada or any European Union, and number of other countries, do not require a visa to enter the Dominican Republic. A Tourist Card will have to be purchased however, either at the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic, or directly at the airport on arrival for $10 (USD) or equivalent.

    Please note, if you are flying via the United States, you will require an ESTA Visa, although British citizens are eligible for the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).
