The Le Bailli de Suffren **** hotel is in the town of Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer, right on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez in southern France.
BY PLANE
The closest international airports are those of Toulon (about an hour's drive to the west), Nice (around an hour and 50 minutes' drive to the northeast), and Marseille (around 2 hours' drive to the west).
Toulon–Hyères Airport (TLN) is located around 19 km / 12 mi east of Toulon. A small number of airlines operate seasonal flights to this airport, such as CityJet from London, or Transavia from Rotterdam. The airport also receives regular flights from Paris, operated by Air France.
Nice-Côte d'Azur International Airport (NCE) is located 7 km / 4 mi southwest of Nice city centre. It is a fairly well-served international airport, receiving flights from most capitals and many other large cities across Europe. It serves as a base for EasyJet, which operate a number of routes to and from this airport.
Marseille-Provence Airport (MRS), located about 27 km (17 mi) northwest of Marseille. The airport is served regularly by flights from capitals and major cities from across Europe.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
We recommend renting a car to get to the hotel, it is the most convenient and direct route to the hotel; plus it is advantageous to get around and explore during your stay.
- Coming from Toulon Airport, head northeast on the D42 along the coast, at the roundabout turn left, following signs for Hyères. Continue straight, following signs for St. Tropez, and turn right onto the D98. Continue along the D98 and then onto the D559, follow this road most of the rest of the way along the coast to the hotel. Take the D559 all the way into the town of Le Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer. When arriving to Le Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer, make a slight right onto Avenue Sarrazine. Stay on Avenue Sarrazine and take the second right onto Avenue Eugène Reuschel. Follow the signs for the hotel that will be on the right.
- Coming from Nice Airport, take the A8 motorway in the direction of St. Tropez. Take exit 36 for St. Tropez. Follow signs for St. Tropez (onto the D125, then straight onto the D25 and eventually onto the D559). Continue on the D559 until you reach Le Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer. Just after the Tourism Office, turn left onto Avenue Capitaine Thorel. Avenue Capitaine Thorel turns slightly right and becomes Avenue Sarrazine. Turn left onto Avenue Eugène Reuschel and follow the sign for the hotel that will be on the right.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
