The closest airports to the hotel are those of Paris, which has three main airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly along with the low-cost airport Paris –Beauvais, located a little further out of the city.
- From the UK: British Airways, Air France, CityJet and EasyJet all operate direct flights out of London. EasyJet also fly direct from Bristol, Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow while Ryanair fly direct from Manchester and Flybe from Birmingham.
- From Ireland: Flying from Dublin, direct flights are operated by Air Lingus, Air France and Ryanair. Aer Lingus also fly from Cork, while Ryanair also fly direct from Shannon.
- From Germany: Airlines flying direct from Berlin include: Lufthansa, Air Berlin, Air France, EasyJet and Germanwings. Air France and Germanwings also fly direct from Hamburg and Dusseldorf while Lufthansa also fly direct out of Frankfurt and Munich.
- From the Netherlands: Air France and KLM both provide direct flights out of Amsterdam.
- From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: SAS, Air France, KLM and Norwegian all fly direct from Stockholm in Sweden, Oslo in Norway and Copenhagen in Denmark. Low-cost airline Ryanair also fly out of Stockholm and Oslo while low-cost Easyjet also fly from Copenhagen. Finnair and Norwegian fly direct from Helsinki, Finland.
- From France: Air France operate shuttle flights from most major cities to Paris, including: Strasbourg, Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Biarritz, Marseille and Nice.
Whichever airport you fly into, we recommend renting a car to get to the hotel and explore during your stay. Major car rental companies are readily found at all the airports. Using public transport, one must (with the exception of Paris-Beauvais airport) first get to Paris Gare du Nord train station for a train to Méry-sur-Oise (see train information in the BY TRAIN section below).
From Paris Charles de Gaulle to Paris Gare du Nord:
- By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, make sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the taxi rank. Fares vary considerably depending on traffic, but expect to pay anywhere between 45 to 55 euros.
- By train: This is generally the most cost-efficient method. The airport is connected to the city via Line B of the RER; and the train conveniently stops at Paris Gare du Nord along the way. Tickets cost 9.75€ or 6.85€ for children (aged 4- 9).
From Paris Orly to Paris Gare du Nord:
- By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, make sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the taxi rank. Fares vary considerably depending on traffic, but expect to pay anywhere between 40 to 50 euros.
- By train: The airport is connected to RER Line B via the ORLYVAL bus service. The bus will drop you off at RER station Anthony. You can then take the RER right up to Paris Gare du Nord. The combined journey costs around 11.65€ and 5.80€ for children (4-10).
From Paris-Beauvais airport, direct to Mery-sur-Oise:
- By train: First, either take a taxi (around 11€) or shuttle bus (around 4€ per person) to Beauvais train station. Then take SNCF Transilien train service H line 27, direction of Gare de Nord, to Persan Beaumont; from here, change for train service H line 26, again direction of Gare du Nord and get off at Mery-sur-Oise. Beware; the last train leaves Beauvais around 8 pm.
Most international trains to Paris arrive at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris Gare de l’Est. To transfer from Gare de l’Est to the Gare du Nord, take the metro M5 (orange) for one stop.
From the UK the train company Eurostar, operate trains from London St. Pancras International train station to Paris Gare du Nord. From Germany and the Netherlands direct trains terminating at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris de l’Est, are provided by high-speed train company Thalys. From elsewhere in France and some neighboring countries, the TGV also operate fast trains.
How to get from Paris Gare du Nord train station the hotel:
The SNCF Transilien train H, line 26, runs regularly from Paris Gare du Nord to Mery-sur-Oise. The Journey time is around 40 minutes; beware the last direct train leaves around 10.50pm.
The hotel is around 1km from Mery station; you may take a taxi, or simply make the 10 minute walk to the hotel. Take a right up Av. Marcel Perrin, continue, and then take a right again up Rue de l'Isle Adam, continue until you see the hotel on your left.
From Paris–Porte Maillot, take the A86 in the direction of Cergy and then follow the A115, direction of Beauvais–Calais. Exit at Mery-sur-Oise Centre. Keep right and eventually turn left onto Av. de la Libération, follow straight and onto Av. Marcel Perrin then right up Rue de l'Isle Adam, continue until the hotel appears on your left.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
