The adventure starts with the road that runs from the charming town of Cascais through the Portuguese paradise locations along the coast. Guarded by a succession of superb lighthouses, on one side there are red cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and on the other there are dunes and a forest that hide remarkable villas. HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • - By Taxi: The 30-minute taxi ride from the airport should cost between £18 and £21.

    - By car: Get on the E1 to IC19/Sintra/EIXO Norte-Sul and continue onto A36 toward Zona Portuária Algés/A5/Cascais. Take the exit onto the A5 toward Cascais and stay on that road for about 20 minutes. Take exit 12 and merge onto Estr. Malveira da Serra/N9-1 toward Malveira/Ald.a Juso. Turn left onto Av. Charneca and follow N247 until you reach the hotel.
