Le Clos de la Boëtie ★★★★★

Explore picture-postcard France from this 19th century haven in the heart of the village of Sarlat.

By Joanne Leitch, VeryChic Correspondent
There’s no doubt that France’s reputation as one of the most beautiful countries in the world is due in large part to Paris, but it’s also thanks to the countless charming old-world villages scattered around its stunning countryside. Sarlat is one such village, nestled deep in the Perigord Noir region in Dordogne. It’s the France you see on calendars: pretty lanes in sleepy villages and rolling countryside abundant with truffles. In the heart of this lovely village is a 19th century haven: La Clos de la Boëtie.
