Hotel Montaigne & Spa **** is set just in a side street of Boulevard Carnot, close to the ocean and many of the highlights of Cannes.

BY PLANE

  • Although Cannes has its own airport, it is not served by scheduled flights. Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (30 km) is the closest well-served international airport, located 30 minutes drive east of the hotel. It receives flights from many capitals and major cities across Europe. It serves as a base for EasyJet, which operate a number of routes to and from this airport.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • - By train: Nice Saint Augustin station is a 10 minute walk from Terminal 1, from where is it possible to take a train to Cannes. The train takes about 25-30 minutes and costs around 5€/£3.70 one-way. Directions are as follows: from Cannes station head north onto Rue Jean de Riouffe toward Rue Venizelos. Take a slight left onto Place du 18 Juin, continue onto Boulevard Carnot and after 100m take a slight right onto Rue André Chaude. Turn right onto Rue Montaigne and your destination will be on your right after 40m.

    - By airport transfer: The hotel provides a very handy transfer service at a rate of 80€ per person, per journey.

    - By car: Renting a car to get to the hotel may be an idea worth considering as it is convenient for reaching the hotel and exploring the surrounding area during your stay.Coming from Nice Airport, take the A8 motorway in the direction of Antibes / Marseille. Take exit 42 for Cannes - centre. Keep following signs for Cannes-centre until you reach Rue de Cannes, Rue Reyer and Avenue du Maréchal Gallieni to Rue Montaigne in Cannes. The journey takes 30 minutes, depending on the traffic.

BY TRAIN

  • Cannes is served by France’s regular and high-speed train networks. It is therefore possible to arrive by high-speed train, with companies such as TGV, Eurostar or Thalys from various countries across Europe (as well as other cities in France). Once in Cannes it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel.

  • Local tourist taxes are not included: 1.50€ per day per person (ages 18+)
