Manoir de Kerhuel ★★★★

Historic country mansion that embodies all the charms of Brittany.

Remarkable
8.6 /10
By Joanne Leitch, VeryChic Correspondent
The Manoir de Kerhuel is a delightful microcosm of Brittany’s charms. Just ten minutes from Quimper which is regarded as the cultural heart of Brittany, it’s a historic mansion that has played its part in trying to defend the Duchy of Brittany in the 15th century. The surrounding countryside offers gorgeous walks along country tow-paths, or you could simply stroll down the hotel’s beech-lined avenue. Take a boat trip to the Glénan islands, or spend some time lounging by the stunning outdoor pool. Barter at the local fish market or simply enjoy the local terroir and taste of the sea embodied in Chef Mathieu Menguy’s cooking.
