View all offersIs it the long stretch of pure white sand that meets the turquoise sea? It is the silence that stretches out after sunset, broken only by the sound of soft waves lapping at the shore? Is it the cool water of my private pool that cuts the heat of long lazy days? What is it exactly that has made me already forget my worries? I cannot be sure, but what I do know is that this is a holiday to remember.
Upon arriving in Phuket, I was seduced by the glittering water, the palm trees shuffling in the breeze and the scent of the sea. That was all before I even set foot in the stunning Pavilions Phuket. My private villa for two offers me 310 square meters of utter seclusion. And I feel right at home in the spacious living room complete with my own kitchenette, where I can have my afternoon tea in style. Indeed, the entire villa seems designed to seduce, especially the bathroom which has a rain shower and a beautiful tub which I never want to leave. With free Wi-Fi, satellite television, an iPod and sound system, plus the selection of movies from the resort library, there’s a world of entertainment at my fingertips.
Each day I linger over the lush buffet breakfast before heading off to explore the islands beaches and other adventures it offers. Elephant trekking, diving, and hiking to the local waterfalls are all temptations, while the local temples draw me in with their golden Buddhas and colourfully peaked roofs. After a day of sightseeing, I am grateful to be back in the warm embrace of my villa, and long only to savour a delicious meal at the Plantation restaurant, with all of the aromatic curries and other local dishes that they offer. In the evenings I love to sit in the 360 Bar and sip my tropical drinks while I watch the lights dance across the pool.
The spa offers a sanctuary from the heat of the sun with 90 minutes of pure indulgence provided by the massage included in my stay. Focused on bringing a sense of peace to all, the masseuses make sure to pamper guests with scented oils and treatments that send me to a blissful place, leaving me tension free. I leave the spa with a new understanding of the meaning of well-being.

The Pavilions Phuket ***** is located about an hour north, and far from the usual crowds of cheap holiday makers in the main tourist destination of Patong. Instead, it is hidden away, perched atop one of the highest points of Phuket, overlooking Bang Tao Bay which has one of the island’s best, yet secluded, beaches.
Phuket International Airport (HKT) sits around 32km / 20mi from the centre of Phuket City, and about 15 km / 9.3 mi / 23 minutes' drive from the hotel.
The airport welcomes some direct flights seasonally from Europe, including the UK. Otherwise, we recommend flying via Bangkok, changing at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK).
Thailand has a visa exemption agreement with a number of countries, including the UK and countries in the EU. This allows for a maximum stay of 30 days upon entering Thailand via an international airport or land border checkpoint from neighbouring countries.
The visit must be strictly for tourism purposes, visitors must have a confirmed return ticket/proof of onward travel for within 30 days of entry (open tickets do not qualify), and visitors must have proof of funds of at least 10,000 THB per person.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
