Archipelagos Resort Hotel ★★★★★
Agia Irini
84400
Paros
Greece
The Archipelagos Resort Hotel ***** boasts a stunning coastal location, overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea from its position on the west coast of Paros, just 5km away from the island’s capital, Parikia.
Paros has its own airport, just 7 km from the hotel. However, in the absence of direct international flights you should fly into Athens, as listed below. You can then find transfers to Paros with either Aegean Airlines or Olympic Air.
- From the UK: British Airways , Aegean and low cost EasyJet and Ryanair all operate direct flights out of London. Aegean further fly from Birmingham and Manchester, and EasyJet from Manchester and Edinburgh. British Airways also fly indirect from Glasgow and Belfast.
- From Ireland: Direct flights can be found operated by Aer Lingus out of Dublin.
- From Germany: Lufthansa and Aegean fly direct out of Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich. Easyjet also fly direct from Berlin and Hamburg while Germanwings fly from Munich.
- From the Netherlands: KLM provide direct flights from Amsterdam to Athens.
- From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: SAS, Norwegian and Aegean fly direct from Stockholm in Sweden, Oslo in Norway and Copenhagen, Denmark. Norwegian airlines operate direct flights out of Helsinki, Finland.
- From France: Air France, Aegean and EasyJet all fly direct from Paris. Air France further provide direct flights from Toulouse, Marseilleand Nice, while Aegean also fly from Marseille and Lyon.
- Hotel: The hotel offers a minivan transfer from the airport to the hotel, costing €10 per person and per journey (maximum 7 people). Other taxi companies are available, but you cannot necessarily count on finding one at the airport without having booked.
Loukis Rentals is located just over the road from the airport. Turn left out of the airport (right from the rental office) and continue along the same road for around 7 km, until you see a left turn signposted for Minois Village. Turn off here and then take the second small track you see on your left, which will take you to the hotel.
Thanks to its location in the centre of the Cyclades, Paros is well connected by high speed boats to other islands and mainland Greece. If you are flying to Athens, you can find daily connections from Piraeus to Paros, for example with Blue Star Ferries, with crossings taking around 4 hours. Pireas can be reached by taxi, metro or the X96 bus from Athens airport.
There is a taxi rank by the port, and it is a ten minute drive to the hotel. Alternatively, there are various car rentals by the port, including Sixt and Hertz. Facing away from the sea at the windmill roundabout, take a left, then immediately a right. Take the first right towards Punta and Aliki, and then stay on the main road all the way out of town. Take a right when you see a sign for Minois Village, then take the second small track you see on your left, which will take you to the hotel.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Local call charges may apply.
