The coastal town of Cannes enjoys the Mediterranean sun for much of the year, and certainly knows a thing or two about Côte d’Azur easy living. I took my sunglasses and most stylish dresses to discover this gorgeous town in the South of France. With the Fortville food market, the traditional feel of Suquet and the glamour of the rue d’Antibes, it won me over completely. And the superb, four-star boutique Le Cavendish Hotel, five minutes from the sea and the famous Croisette Boulevard, was no exception.

Located a few steps away from the famous Croisette and the luxurious shops in rue d’Antibes, the sandy beaches and the Palais des Festivals are all just minutes from Le Cavendish **** Hotel.

  • The closest airport is that of Nice, about 30 minutes drive to the east. Nice-Côte d'Azur International Airport (NCE) is located 7 km / 4 mi southwest of Nice city centre. It is a fairly well-served international airport, receiving flights from most capitals and many other large cities across Europe. It serves as a base for EasyJet, which operate a number of routes to and from this airport.

TO THE HOTEL

  • By train: Nice Saint Augustin station is a 10 minute walk from Terminal 1, from where is it possible to take a train to Cannes. Cannes Station is then a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

    By car: Renting a car to get to the hotel may be an idea worth considering as it is convenient for reaching the hotel and exploring the surrounding area during your stay.

    By transfer: a transfer is possible to/from the airport to the hotel on request and with confirmation from the hotel (for a surcharge)
