La Marine de Loire **** is located in the Loire Valley, in Montsoreau. It is only 13 km from Saumur and 65km from Tours.
Tours Val de Loire Airport (TUF), found 6 km / 3.7 miles northeast of Tours, is the closest to the hotel.
The airport receives flights operated by Ryanair from London-Stansted, Marrakesh, Porto, Dublin and seasonally from Marseille.
Further away, around 175km from the hotel is the better served, Nantes Atlantique Airport (NTE), around 8 km / 5 mi southwest of Nantes city centre.

Gare de Tours is just one hour away from Paris by train. TGV, Intercités and TER trains all call into Tours. From Tours to Montsoreau, you can take a TER (50 minutes) to Saumur Rive Droit (42mins, 13€ one-way) or rent a car (68km).
Alternatively, Gare de Saumur is two hours from Paris (TGV, Intercités and TER trains all call at Saumur) but just a fifteen-minute drive from the hotel (13km).
From Gare de Saumur to the hotel
- By bus: Agglo Bus runs a service three times a day, taking between 25-30 minutes. Please see www.agglobus.fr for more details (in French) or visit the Saumur Agglobus depot in Saumur on arrival.
- By taxi: a taxi would cost around 25€ and take in the region of 12 minutes. They can be arranged at the tourist office or in advance by the hotel.
- By car: take David d’Angers Avenue southeast, and at the roundabout take the first exit. At the second roundabout, take the third exit onto the D952. Follow it to the third roundabout, and take the third exit onto Avenue de la Loire/D947. The hotel will be on the right.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
