Golden Prague Residence **** is located in the Old Town, a quiet area of Prague, just 400 meters from the beautiful Letná gardens and less than a kilometre from the famous Charles Bridge.
The city is served by Václav Havel Airport Prague (formerly Prague Ruzyně International Airport) which lies about 10 km (6 mi) west of the city centre.
- From the UK: Direct flights from London are offered by British Airways, EasyJet, Ryanair and Wizz Air. EasyJet and Jet2 also fly from Edinburgh and Manchester. EasyJet fly from Bristol and Jet2 also fly from other cities.
- From Ireland: Aer Lingus and Ryanair both operate flights from Dublin.
- From Germany: Indirect flights from Berlin are available from Germanwings. Between Czech Airlines, Germanwings and Lufthansa, flights can be found from Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt and Munich.
- From the Netherlands: Czech Airlines, KLM and Easyjet offer flights from Amsterdam.
- From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: Czech Airlines, SAS and Norwegian all fly from Stockholm and Copenhagen. SAS and Norwegian fly from Oslo and Finnair and Norwegian fly from Helskini.
- From France: Air France, Czech Airlines, EasyJet and Transavia operate direct flights from Paris. Air France also fly from Toulouse, Lyon and Marseille. Czech Airlines also fly from Strasbourg and Nice. Volotea fly from Nantes.
- Hotel transfer: BMW transfer to/from the airport available, costs 33€ (around £25) each way (3 people maximum).
- By taxi: Tick Tack is recommended instead of taking a regular airport taxi. You can pay in Euros or Czech koruna. Standard prices are from 490CZK (around 18€ / £14).
- By bus/tram: From Terminal 1 at the airport, take the 119 bus towards Dejvická for 11 stops. Change at Dejvická. Walk 50 metres to the Dejvická metro station (straight ahead from the bus stop) and take the A line in direction of Depo Hostivar. Get off after 3 stops at Staromestska. Once you leave the metro you have a 6 minute walk to the hotel, turn right onto Žatecká at the end of this street turn right again onto Siroka. Tur left onto Maiselova, and then right onto Brehova, take the first left onto Parizska, take the first right and you will see the hotel . In all, the journey will take around 25 minutes.
Arriving in Prague there are two likely stations you will arrive at: Hlavní nádrazí (Main Station), the biggest station, with ticket offices, a train information centre and a Prague information service; or Nádrazí Holesovice (Holesovice Station), often the terminus for trains from Berlin and other destinations to the north and from the west. To travel to the hotel from either station, you can buy a 30-minute pass for 24CZK.
From Hlavní nádrazí:
This station is only an 15min journey from the hotel. When you exit the station take the metro at Muzeum – A (which is 300 metres from Hlavni down Washingtonova street. Then take Muzeum - A for 2 stops towards Dejvicka get off at Staroměstská. Once you leave the metro you have a 6 minute walk to the hotel, turn right onto Žatecká at the end of this street turn right again onto Siroka. Tur left onto Maiselova, and then right onto Brehova, take the first left onto Parizska, take the first right and you will see the hotel. In all, the journey will take around 25 minutes.
From Nádrazí Holesovice:
At the tram number 17 at Nadrazitowards Levskeho for 6 stops and get off Právnická fakulta, walk down Parizska and take the first left, the hotel will be on your left.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
