BY PLANE

  • Paris is served by three main airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), located 25 km (16 mi) to the northeast of Paris, Paris Orly (ORY), located 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Paris, and Paris Beauvais (BVA), around 85 km (53 mi) north of Paris (near the city of Beauvais).

    Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly receive flights from most capitals and major cities across Europe. Meanwhile, low-cost airlines (notably Ryanair), operate flights to Paris Beauvais from many cities across Europe.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORTS TO THE HOTEL

  • Coming from either airport, you would first need to get to Châtelet les Halles train station:

    - From Paris-Charles de Gaulle: Take the B line to Châtelet-les-Halles

    - From Paris-Orly: From the airport, the most effective way is to take the Orlyval to Antony on the B line, and from there take the B line to Châtelet-les-Halles. There, you could take another metro line (11 or 1) that will get you one station closer, but it is in fact more effective opting for the 10-minute walk to the hotel. So at Châtelet take Sortie Lescaut, turn right and then immediately left onto Rue Aubry le Boucher. Go straight walking past the Centre Georges Pompidou, continuing onto Rue Saint-Merri, and then onto Rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie. Go further down staying on that road past the Sorbonne, the hotel will be on your left.

BY TRAIN

  • Most international trains arrive at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris de l’Est.
