The Seeko’o Hotel **** is located near to the centre of Bordeaux, just across the road from the Garonne River and not far from the Grand Teatre.
PLANE
Bordeaux is served by Bordeaux-Merignac Airport (BOD), which sits around 12 km / 7.5 mi west of the city centre, and around 10 kilometres from the hotel.
It is an international airport which is fairly well-served by flights from elsewhere in France along with a number of capitals cities and other large cities across Europe.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
- By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost somewhere in the region of 30€ and will take around 35 minutes.
- By bus: The Airport Shuttle runs direct to the Gare Saint-Jean train station in the centre of town, costing 7.20€ one-way and 12.30€ return. However, we recommend taking the regular bus Lianes 1, getting off at Quinconces Munich, and changing for the tram line B to Les Hangars. The journey will take around 50 minutes and a single ticket costs around 1.50€. The hotel is a couple of minutes’ walk further up the river and to the left.
TRAIN
The main train station in Bordeaux is the Gare de Bordeaux-Saint-Jean, located in the centre of the city. It is served by regular train services as well as the French high-speed TGV. It is possible to book high-speed trains from the UK with Eurostar and from other neighbouring countries or the rest of France with companies like Thalys and TGVand some other neighbouring countries with the TGV.
It is possible to get to from the station to the hotel by taxi, or by taking bus Lianes 45 to Bassins à Flot. It is also possible by tram, taking line C to Quinconces and changing for line B to Les Hangars.
