Nestled amidst the vineyards in the Ardèche region of southern France, Domaine des Chalvêches **** is located in the small town of Faugères, known for its quality wine, windmills and stunning landscapes.

The hotel is strategically places between two well-served international airports: Marseille Provence Airport (183 km), around 2 hours 35 minutes' drive south of the hotel, and Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport (218 km), 3 hour drive north of the hotel; both airports receives flights from many capitals and major cities across Europe.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORTS TO THE HOTEL
By car: we recommend renting a car to reach the hotel, similarly it provides a fantastic opportunity to explore the surrounding area. Car rental companies are readily available at the airport terminals, although it is often cheaper to book online and in advance.
From Marseille:
- The hotel is 183 km away from the airport and the journey will take 2 hours 35 minutes. Leave the airport, head north following signs to the A7. Follow the A7 for 95 km, exiting onto the N7 in Piolenc. Continue for 20 km, upon reaching Pierrelatte, turn right onto D59 and onto D4, passing through Bourg Saint-Andéol to Vallon-Pont d'Arc. Continue onto D579, D11 and D246 heading east towards Lablachère. From Lablachère, take the D207 towards Faugères and turn right onto Le Girobon toward Chalveche, the hotel will be on your right. It is worth noting that this a particularly scenic route, passing through the Ardèches and the Natural Reserve.
From Lyon:
- The hotel is 218 km away from the airport and the drive is a little less than 3 hours long. From Lyon, get on the A7 to Valence. Stay on that road for 95 km then take exit 16-Loriol/Privas/Loriol-sur-Drôme/Livron-sur-Drôme/la Voulte-sur-Rhône. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto D104N and continue onto D104. Follow that road for about an hour, then follow signs to Lablachère, then to Planzolles on D4, and finally Faugères on the D250. In Faugères, follow signs to Chalvèche until you reach the hotel.
