    Some low-cost airlines, notably Ryanair, also fly into Rome's second airport, Rome Ciampino Airport (CIA), located around 12 km / 7.5 mi south-southeast of the city centre.

    Florence Airport, Peretola (FLR) sits about 10 km /6 mi northwest of Florence city centre.

    The airport receives international flights from a number of capitals and large cities across Europe, and most notably serves as a focus for Vueling Airlines.
