BY PLANE
The closest airport is Peretola Amerigo Vespucci airport, also known as Florence Airport (FLR) which sits about 10 km (6 mi) northwest of Florence city centre.
The airport receives a international flights from a number of capitals and large cities across Europe, and most notably serves as a focus for Vueling Airlines.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
By taxi: From Florence Airport, a taxi will take around 50 minutes and will cost 60€ - 75€.
By train: The Regional Line Train goes from Florence every hour and costs 3€. Get off at Castelfironetino after 30-40 minutes and from there it is a 10 minute taxi ride to the hotel.
By car: From Florence Airport, follow the S.G.C. FI-PI-LI towards Pisa, exit at Ginestra F.Na towards the provincial road Val di Pesa (12.7 km). Keep right at the crossroads, follow the road signs for Ginestra F.na / Montespertoli / Florence and enter the Provincial Road Val di Pesa (100 m). Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout (450 m). Take the 1st exit at the roundabout and enter the Provincial Road Virginio (900 m). Drive on to the Provincial Road Volterrana. Cross 3 roundabouts (5.1 km). Follow the Via Provinciale Volterrana (8.7 km) then the Via Giordano Bruno (5.6 km). Drive onto SS429 (750 m) then Via Provinciale Volterrana. Cross the roundabout (500 m). Turn right onto Provincial Road 26/SP26 (1.6 km) then right again onto Via Independence (6.6 km). Drive on to Via Independence (350 m) then Provincial Road 26/SP26 (500 m). Drive on to Provincial Road Samminiatese (210 m) then turn right onto Via Papa Giovanni XXIII (650 m).
